I loved this book.
Rampant is well written and is about a girl who thinks her mom is crazy. Supposedly Astrid's family are Unicorn Hunters but they only have the power to hunt and catch unicorns if they are still virgins. Unicorns are actually carnivorous, man-eating, poisonous creatures who are attracted to Hunters. When Astrid's mom finds out that hunters are being called to Rome because of Unicorn sightings she sends Astrid to become a hunter.

Bones of Faerie by Janni Lee Simner
I thought this was a very boring book that was fast and didn't have a lot of details in it.
This book takes place after a huge war between the Faerie's and the Humans in the United States. Big cities are now destroyed. It's about a girl who lives in a town that is very strict and unfriendly. They believe that magic is evil and will kill anyone. If a child is born with white hair they are thrown out into the wild to die. This is what happened to the main character's baby sister. Soon after her mother leaves and she is stuck with her father who is a very vicious man who beats her if she does something wrong. She finds out that she herself has magic so she runs away.
